What you need to know as our customer
These terms apply to all services provided by FixMyPC Perth, Western Australia. By booking a service you agree to the terms below.
FixMyPC Perth provides computer repair, diagnostics, hardware upgrades, virus removal, data recovery, networking, and related technology services to residential and small business customers across Perth, Western Australia.
All services are carried out by our own team. We do not subcontract your device to a third party.
We reserve the right to decline a job if the repair is beyond our scope or if we determine the cost of repair is not in the customer's best interest. In that case we will tell you and not charge you beyond the diagnostic fee.
A flat diagnostic fee applies to all drop off repair jobs. This fee covers a full assessment of your device, identification of the root cause, and the repair itself where possible.
The diagnostic fee is quoted to you before any work begins. You will always know the cost upfront and no additional labour charges are added without your approval.
If parts are required (such as an SSD, RAM, or screen), these are quoted separately. Parts costs are confirmed with you before anything is ordered or installed.
Payment is due on collection of your device, once the repair is complete and you are satisfied with the work. No upfront payment is required.
We accept the following payment methods:
An invoice is provided for every job with a full breakdown of what was completed. Please allow up to 24 hours for bank transfers to clear before collecting your device if paying remotely in advance.
We do not currently accept card payments, PayPal, or buy now pay later services.
All labour carried out by FixMyPC Perth comes with a 30 day labour warranty. If the same issue returns within 30 days of your repair being completed, we will reassess and remedy it at no additional labour cost.
The warranty covers the specific fault that was repaired. It does not cover:
Hardware components such as SSDs and RAM carry their own manufacturer warranty in addition to our labour warranty.
We understand that your device contains personal information. We take your privacy seriously and operate with the following principles:
We strongly recommend backing up your important data before handing in your device. While we take every precaution to protect your files, FixMyPC Perth cannot be held liable for pre-existing data loss or corruption discovered during the repair process.
FixMyPC Perth takes all reasonable care when handling your device. However, computer repair inherently carries some risk, particularly when a device is already in a failed or failing state.
We strongly advise all customers to back up their data before dropping off a device. If you are unsure how to do this, please let us know and we can assist.

In the unlikely event that our work causes unintended damage, we will discuss fair resolution with you directly.
Once your repair is complete, we will notify you via WhatsApp or phone. We ask that you collect your device within a reasonable timeframe.
If a device has not been collected within 60 days of the repair completion notice, and we have been unable to reach you after reasonable attempts, FixMyPC Perth reserves the right to dispose of the device responsibly. This may include recycling, donation, or other lawful disposal.
We will always make multiple contact attempts before taking any action on an uncollected device.
For networking, printer setup, smart TV, and other on site jobs, a callout fee of $40 applies in addition to the service cost. This covers travel to your location within the Perth metro area.
Please ensure someone is present at the address for the duration of the visit. If we arrive and cannot access the premises, the callout fee may still apply.
We ask that a safe and accessible workspace is available for on site repairs.
Remote support sessions are conducted via AnyDesk at $50 per hour, billed in 30 minute increments. You will be told the estimated duration before the session begins.
During a remote session, you grant temporary access to your screen and device solely for the purpose of the repair or troubleshooting task agreed upon. Access is terminated at the end of the session.
Remote sessions are only conducted with the customer present and in control of ending the connection at any time.
