Cracked Laptop Screen: What It Costs and How Urgent It Is

This is the most common kind of screen damage: a drop or knock has cracked the outer glass or the panel itself, but the image underneath is still complete and readable through the damage. Structurally, the screen is still doing its job, just with a visible crack across it.
